During Your Stay

Everything you need to know during your stay at Steam Pier

Check-in

Check-in is from 16:00. If you arrive after 22:00, we offer self-service check-in, and instructions will be sent to you via your booking channel or email before 22:00 on the day of arrival.

 

Check-out

Check-out is no later than 11:00 on the day of departure. If you want a later check-out, please contact the reception.

 

Reception

The reception is open every day from 09:00-22:00. Between 22:00 and 09:00 we are available via phone on +47 920 28 600 if needed.

 

Luggage storage

Do you need to leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out? We offer luggage storage. Just ask us at the reception and we will arrange it.

 

WiFi

We offer free WiFi for all guests. The password must is stated in the information booklet in all rooms, or can be obtained at the reception.

 

Cleaning, towels and bed linen

Steam Pier is an apartment hotel with no daily cleaning of our units. Your apartment is thoroughly prepared before your arrival.

Towels and bed linen are of course included. If you need to change during your stay, just contact the reception.

If you need extra cleaning, toilet paper or other consumables, we are happy to help you. Contact us at the reception or on the emergency phone.

 

Garbage

There are trash cans and bags available in your apartment. If you need to get rid of garbage bags during your stay, you will find large black garbage containers at the entrance to the hotel. Our cleaners take care of rubbish after check-out, so you don't have to think about this yourself.

 

Kitchen

All apartments except Aurora Hut are equipped with full kitchens so you can cook your own meals while staying with us. 

Remember to use the fan above the stove when cooking. This prevents cooking fumes from triggering the fire alarm.

The guests staying in the Aurora Huts will have access to a shared kitchen in our reception building.

 

Fire alarm

If you trigger a false fire alarm, contact the reception or emergency phone +47 920 28 600 immediately.

If a fire alarm goes off and you do not know why, evacuate the building immediately.

If you have started a fire, contact the emergency services on 110 immediately.

 

Jacuzzi and Sauna

We offer an outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. These cost extra and can be booked here or at our reception.

 

Tours & Activities

We offer guided Northern Lights tours and other experiences starting here at Steam Pier. Read more here or ask at our reception.

 

Pets

As a general rule, we do not accept pets here at Steam Pier, but feel free to contact our reception by phone or email and we will try to find a solution for you.

 

House rules

• Smoking is not allowed indoors in all areas of the hotel
• Quiet hours after 23:00 for the sake of other guests
• Parties and other noisy activities are not allowed
• Always use a cooker hood when preparing food
